The Grosse Pointe Farms Department of Public Safety is notifying you of the following temporary street closure beginning tomorrow at 7 am (08/30/22). Kercheval Avenue will be closed between Hall Place & McMillian Road for this annual benefit event, “Racing for Kids.” Kercheval Avenue will not be re-opened until 08/31/22 at 11:30 pm. The street closure is necessary for proper event setup. The municipal-owned lot (behind Rite-Aid) will have free parking only on Wednesday, 08/31/2022. Motorists traveling through the area should seek alternative routes. Eastbound Kercheval traffic entering the area will be re-routed to the Kercheval alley. Westbound traffic will be diverted to Hall Place. Businesses on the Hill will remain open during this temporary street closure.
