On September 10, 2022, the Ventura Sheriff’s Canine Foundation, in partnership with Underwood Family Farms, will be hosting our annual “Wine, Brew, & K9 Crew” fundraising event.
The Ventura Sheriff’s Canine Foundation is excited to partner once again with Underwood Family Farms to host our second “Wine, Brew, & K9 Crew” fundraising event. The Ventura Sheriff’s Canine Foundation is funded solely through private donations and fundraising events, which provides our canine partners the opportunity to follow rigorous training steps in order to develop the skills necessary to protect themselves, their handlers, and our community members.
Come join us for an opportunity to meet our hard working four-legged partners, Dino, Sam, Thor, Andy, Koa, and our newest addition to the unit, Danny. There will be an assortment of local breweries and wines, a taco truck, “Mister Softee” ice cream, bounce houses, raffles, and of course, access to Underwood’s array of farm animals. During the event, attendees will have an opportunity to meet and greet our K9’s, observe some of the training our K9’s perform, and speak with our handlers one on one to learn more about the unit and the work they do.
