The Plainfield Police Department would like to remind our citizens that schools are opening soon. Motorists should use caution when operating or parking their vehicles near a school and around children. Also, please factor in additional commuting time for traffic delays as a result of parents and busses dropping students off. The Police Department is conducting distracted driver and speed enforcment throughout the city. Please obey all traffic laws while operating a motor vehicle.
