1. Pursuit (1517) Wilson Way and Channel Street, Park District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations, and the driver failed to yield. The suspects fled into a residence, and officers arrested them without incident. A search warrant for the residence was authored, and several firearms were recovered. ARRESTED: Damarea Mckenzie, 21, and Dimitrius Wilkins, 30, for evading, and Raymond Rivera, 35, for weapons charges.
 
2. Pursuit (1546) El Dorado Street and Clayton Avenue, Seaport District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The occupants fled on foot but were taken into custody after they complied; two firearms were located in the vehicle. The occupants were treated at an area hospital for minor injuries. ARRESTED: Deshaun Wilson, 30, and Katrel Williams, 28, for evading, weapons, and traffic charges.
 
3. Resisting Arrest (0036) 600 Block of East Oak Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the call location on the report of a disturbance. The suspect approached the officers while holding a knife, and a Tazer was deployed. The suspect was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital and turned over to a mental health facility.
 
4. Person Shot (0049) 00 Block of West Glencannon Street, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 60, was in an argument with the known suspect. The suspect shot at the victim while charging at him. The victim and the suspect fought over the firearm, and the suspect accidentally shot himself. Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital. ARRESTED: Jose Salas, 34, for assault with a deadly weapon.
