Friday, Sept. 2 (9:00 am-4:00 pm): Shorewood Blvd/University Ave Intersection closed to all traffic. 
Please be advised: Shorewood Boulevard will be closed to all traffic on Friday, September 2 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for utility and road construction related to the University Avenue Reconstruction Project.
Vehicles leaving the Village will not have access to University Avenue via Shorewood Blvd. Vehicles entering the Village similarly will not have access to Shorewood Blvd from University Avenue. No right turn at Shorewood Blvd for westbound traffic. The left turn lane on University Avenue will be closed for eastbound traffic.
Suggested detours:
1) Entering the Village: From University Avenue, turn north on Joyce Erdman Place (one block west of Shorewood Blvd), then east on Locust Drive, then North on Shorewood Blvd.
2) Leaving the Village heading west: From Shorewood Blvd, turn west on Locust Drive, turn south on Joyce Erdman Place, turn west on University Avenue.
3) Leaving the Village heading east: From Shorewood Blvd, turn west on Locust Drive, to cross University Avenue you may want to utilize a stop light, continue on Locust Drive until Rose Place (turn south), at the stop light turn east on University Avenue.
