Planned Power Outage (For Emergency Repairs) 
Duke Energy is planning an emergency outage at the Lake Lure Substation this Saturday morning (9-3-2022) beginning at 12:01 AM. The outage is expected to last 3 hours and is required to replace damaged equipment in the substation. The outage will impact the areas north of the dam, as well as customers below the dam down to Rock Branch Road.
