With the school year starting next week, while you are driving, please be mindful of children who are waiting for the bus and making a mad dash across the street to catch a bus or get home.  Please also remember that it is unlawful to pass a school bus with flashing red lights in either direction even on Western Avenue.

 

The Federal government also announced that, as of tomorrow, it is ending its popular program for ordering free COVID-19 test kits mailed to your home.  The CDC will likely very soon authorize an “updated booster” in anticipation of heightened exposure and transmission in colder months, and effort to curb another fall or winter COVID-19 surge.  More details are below.
