Woman Arrested When Deputies Respond to a Reckless OHV Driver on Apple Valley Road

INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property
LOCATION: Apple Valley Road & Yucca Loma Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Angel Alexus Hernandez, 21-year-old female resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11:58 a.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a report of an off-road vehicle driving recklessly on Apple Valley Road near Yucca Loma Road in Apple Valley.
Upon arrival, Deputy Umphlett contacted the driver of a 2005 Honda ATV, who was identified as Angel Hernandez. Hernandez was found to have an active felony warrant. A records check of the ATV showed it was reported stolen out of Apple Valley on June 10, 2022.
Hernandez was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for possession of stolen property and the felony warrant. She is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
