8:17 AM: Officers responded to a vehicle release in the 37000 block of Newark Boulevard. Officers made contact and arrested a 34-year-old male out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Sanat Rita Jail.
10:03 AM: Officer Sanchez initiated a traffic enforcement traffic stop in the area of Newark Boulevard and Dumbarton Court. Officer Sanchez made contact and arrested a 47-year old female out of Union City for possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, giving false information to a police officer and probation violation. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:11 AM: Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 24 year old male out of Newark in the 35000 block of Newark Boulevard for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:22 PM: Officer Piquette initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Cedar Boulevard and Rosa Way. Officer Piquette made contact and arrested a 21 year old male out of Newark for possession of loaded firearm, carrying an unregistered loaded firearm, and carrying concealed weapon in a vehicle. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:20 AM: Officer Hunter was conducting a security check in the 2000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Hunter made contact and arrested a 35-year old male out of Newark for theft of personal property and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:12 AM: Officer Quinonez observed a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of Dupont Ave and Blackwood Dr. During the officer’s investigation, a second vehicle driving recklessly, drove by at a high rate of speed from Cedar Blvd onto Newark Blvd. Officer Garcia located the second vehicle as it attempted to go onto eastbound Highway 84 and on-viewed it spin-out on the shoulder. The driver fled on foot. Additional officers arrived on scene and quickly took the subject safely into custody. The subject, a 23-year old male out of Newark, was ultimately arrested for DUI, reckless driving and obstructing a peace officer. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail and his vehicle (featured in the photo) was impounded for 30-days. The driver of the initial vehicle, also a 23-year old male out of Newark, was ultimately arrested for DUI and booked at Santa Rita Jail. His vehicle was also impounded for 30-days.
10:49 PM: Officer Garcia located a stolen vehicle out of Sunnyvale in the area of Thornton Avenue and Cherry Street.

9:40 AM: Officers responded a report of a theft in the 5000 block of Stevenson. Upon arrival, Officer McCuin made contact and arrested a 35 year old male out of Newark for petty theft and criminal threats. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
11:16 AM: Officer Losier located a stolen vehicle out of Fremont in the 39000 block of Fremont Blvd.
6:48 PM: Officers investigated an attempted burglary to a vehicle in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
8:35 PM: Officers responded to a disturbance in the 6000 block of Jarvis Avenue. Upon arrival, Officers made contact and arrested a 42-year old male out of Fremont for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and false registration. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

4:51 AM: Officer Garcia responded to a report of an unresponsive subject in a vehicle in the 5000 block of Jarvis Avenue. Upon arrival, Officer Garcia made contact and arrested a 37 year old male out of Hayward for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
9:23AM: Officer Arroyo investigated an overnight theft of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Sunrose Avenue.
9:29 AM: Officer Pacheco investigated a burglary in the 35000 block of Fircrest Street. Total loss is a printer, helmets, computers, and tools.
10:32 AM: Officer Taylor investigated an overnight theft of a vehicle in the 36000 block of Worthing Drive.
11:13 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 39000 block of Balentine Drive. Total loss was two backpacks.
2:34 PM: Officer Frentescu initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the area of Balentine Drive and Mowry School Rd. Officer Frentescu made contact and arrested a 45 year old male out of Fremont for an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released on scene.
3:57 PM: Officers investigated thefts of two vehicles in north and west side of the City.

2:44 AM: Officer Swadener responded to an activation of an alarm in the 39000 block of Cedar Boulevard. Upon arrival, several doors were found to be unsecured. No loss at this time.
9:23 AM: Officer Rivera investigated an overnight theft of a vehicle in the 5900 block of Bellflower Drive.
