09-02-2022 A LABOR DAY MESSAGE FROM MAYOR TOM GIORDANO

My Dear Neighbors and Friends,

Labor Day is a tribute to those who work, paid or unpaid, part-time or full time, happily or not.

We are blessed in Waldwick to have such highly skilled, dedicated hard working people always ready to help our residents and make a difference in their lives and in our community.

Every job our employees handle is done with professionalism and dedication. They continue to provide excellent service, they strive to make Waldwick the best place to live, work and raise our families.

You have worked so hard and deserve to be praised for your outstanding effort. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and direct contributions to our growth and goals. It feels great to look back over the past year and see all we have achieved together.

“Let us realize that the privilege to work is a gift,
that the power to work is a blessing,
that the love of work is success.” – David O. McKay

And to our young residents, may the new school year be filled with learning, joys of success and accomplishments.  May you always embrace opportunities, unlock your potentials and aspire to excellence.

As the greens of summer give way to the reds of autumn, your Mayor and Council would like to wish all of you a safe and relaxing Labor Day Weekend.

Mayor Tom Giordano
