Today, Friday September 2nd, The Belmar 5 Kid’s Race and activities will be held at Silver Lake Park at 5^th and Ocean at 6:00pm followed by fireworks at dusk. 
The Belmar 5 will be held tomorrow Saturday September  3^rd.  The run will start at 8:00am.  At 7:00am, all of Ocean Avenue, North Blvd, and 5^th through 9^th Avenue Ocean to Main Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic until the race ends. Please expect some delays while the runners are on the course and cooperate with public safety officials and race volunteers.  There will be no parking along Ocean Avenue from 1st to 9th Avenue and around Silver Lake. Anyone needing to leave areas that will be closed are to travel westbound towards Main Street. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and have a great day.
