Flood Advisory until 07:45PM Friday

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Kimble, Schleicher and Sutton.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 549 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain has fallen, or will fall over the next hour or so. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And Ranch Road 864, Cleo and Us-277 Near The Sutton-Schleicher County Line. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... RM 2291 crossings along Bear Creek, County Road 260 crossing North Llano River, KC 210 crossing West Bear Creek and River Road crossing North Llano River. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
