* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Southwest Ohio and West Central Ohio, including the following counties, in Southwest Ohio, Butler, Hamilton and Warren. In West Central Ohio, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 930 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 649 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain had fallen due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dayton, Kettering, Middletown, Fairfield, Mason, Miamisburg, Lebanon, Forest Park, Springboro, Sharonville, Monroe, Blue Ash, Loveland, Trenton, Franklin, Springdale, Reading, Montgomery, Wyoming and Bellbrook.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BUTLER, OH ... HAMILTON, OH ... MONTGOMERY, OH ... WARREN, OH

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
