School Opens Today September 6th, 2022. Leave ample travel time, expect delays, yield to pedestrians and school crossing guards. 
As the first day of school is upon us today, we remind our motorists to SLOW DOWN IN OUR TOWN - especially during inclement weather.
Please ensure that you leave yourself ample travel time and use caution along school routes. Our school crossing guards are out ensuring the safety of our pedestrians near schools, but pedestrian safety is a shared responsibility.
Parents/Guardians: Avoid idling near schools, avoid parking where parking is prohibited, and never leave a vehicle unoccupied and running. Our Patrol Division and Traffic Bureau will be out tomorrow during school arrival and dismissal times conducting increased school zone patrols.
