1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1506) 1300 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 55, and the suspect were arguing when the suspect began to chase him with a machete. The suspect swung the machete at the victim but did not hit him. ARRESTED: Julian Villegas, 36, for assault with a deadly weapon.

2. Resisting Arrest (1545) 3500 Block of Alvarado Avenue, Civic District
The suspect entered a building in the area and vandalized property. Officers attempted to detain the suspect but he fled on foot. Officers caught up to the suspect and force was required to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Phillip Turner, 28, for vandalism and resisting arrest.

3. Robbery (1602) 1300 Block of Holt Street, Civic District
The male and female victims, 57 and 40, arranged to meet near the listed location with the suspects to purchase a vehicle advertised on the internet. When the victims arrived, they were approached by the suspects, who both pointed firearms at them and demanded their property. The suspects fled in a black sedan with the victim’s property. This incident is related to entry #7 below. SUSPECTS: Two Black males.

4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1720) 300 Block of West Park Street, Civic District
The female victim, 44, was in the listed area trying to sell items to the suspect. The suspect told the victim to leave and began shooting her with a BB gun. The victim was struck several times and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Mallory Crawford, 23, for assault with a deadly weapon.

5. Carjacking (2200) East Jackson Street and South San Joaquin Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 62, was in the listed area when the suspect approached him, pointed a gun at him, and demanded that he get out of his vehicle. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

6. Resisting Arrest (2257) 2200 Block of Chapel Hill Circle, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the listed area on the report of a disturbance. The suspect was under the influence of alcohol and became aggressive towards officers. Force was required to take her into custody. ARRESTED: Cynthia Davis, 45, for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

7. Carjacking Arrest (0100) 1800 Block of La Jolla Drive, Civic District
Officers located the suspect vehicle related to entry #3, which was also a carjacking vehicle from August 30, 2022. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspects fled, leading officers on a pursuit. Falcon 1-0 assisted by tracking the vehicle until the suspects abandoned the vehicle and entered a residence. Officers evacuated the residents, and eventually took the suspects into custody. Two loaded guns were recovered. ARRESTED: Eldridge Persons 18, and a 15-year-old male, for weapons charges, robbery, carjacking, and evading.
