Hope everyone is enjoying their 3-day weekend safely. This is also a reminder that today the statewide #FlexAlert has been extended to today, Monday, Sept. 5, from 4-10 p.m.
Here are some safety tips:

- Extreme heat can overload equipment causing heat-related outages. PG&E encourages customers to have a plan and be prepared. Pre-charge your medical device and keep a cooler with an icepack in case your medication requires refrigeration: https://loom.ly/YIbcwoc
- *PRE COOL* your home before the flex hours. Use window coverings to keep sun/heat out. Avoid using major appliances during flex alert hours.
