* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Including the following area, Matanuska Valley. This includes the cities of Palmer, Wasilla, Sutton, And Chickaloon.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread rain is expected to move into the Susitna Valley Thursday morning with prolonged periods of moderate rain expected in the Talkeetna Mountains through Friday afternoon. Rainfall totals of between four and six inches are possible in the Talkeetna Mountains. - Http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
