Since last week’s newsletter, the FDA authorized, and the CDC recommended, updated COVID-19 boosters for persons 12 years and older. The updated boosters are in response to concerns about increased exposure and transmission rates in colder months. The updated boosters are now available at local pharmacies, and I have already heard from many residents about the ease of getting both the flu vaccine and updated COVID-19 booster in the past several days.
