Republic reported that trash collection today for Wednesday routes was unable to be completed. Collections continue on Friday.

Republic officials reported that they completed collections from the Tuesday regular routes this morning and began the regular Wednesday routes.  Unfortunately, crews were unable to complete the Wednesday routes before the end of the day.  

Areas left incomplete include the Brookside neighborhood, Fostertown Road, Church Road from Fostertown Road to the Southampton Twp. line, Eayrestown Road, Sandtown Road, New Freedom Road including Liberty Place and LaRue Lane, Chairville Road, Branin Road, Chapel Avenue including Hampshire Way and all neighborhood streets, Skeet Road, Hawkin Road including East and West Raymond Avenue neighborhood, Old Marlton Pike including Jones Road and Chester Avenue, Stokes Road from Branin to Chapel Avenue, and many streets in Medford Village including South Street, Coates Street, Bank Street, Filbert Street, and other lanes and alleys in this area.

Republic will collect these areas first thing Friday morning before beginning the Thursday regular routes.  Affected residents should leave their carts at the street for recovery tomorrow morning.  Residents located in areas other than what is listed above that may have experienced a missed collection should report it to the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791.

Republic Services has informed Medford Township officials that they will continue to use all available resources to have all routes and neigborhoods collected by the end of the day Saturday.  We appreciate your patience and consideration.
