* At 1029 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area including in Mexico. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over a large area south of the border. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ocotillo, Mountain Spring, Coyote Wells and Seeley. This includes the following highways... CA Interstate 8 near mile marker 1...and between mile markers 10 and 18.
