The victim in this case has been identified as Armando Misael Ramos Hernandez, 46-year-old male. Armando’s death has been ruled a homicide. The incident remains under investigation by the Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit. The APD Homicide unit is needing help to identify the deceased male from the 2800 block of Oak Drive. He has a distinct tattoo on his right leg from his knee to his ankle. It is 6- five-point stars (similar to the one on our APD patch) but in black outline only. If you think you might know someone with this tattoo, please call the APD Homicide unit at 378-9468.

On Tuesday September 6th, APD officers were called to the 2800 block of Oak Drive on a deceased adult male laying by a dumpster in the alley. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide unit is investigating. Due to the suspicious circumstances, the Homicide unit is asking for anyone who may have information on this incident to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
