* At 101 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Carrizo Wash and Gert Wash. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain have fallen in the desert and over 3 inches on Mt Laguna. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 3 hours. Flash flooding is already occurring in Carrizo and Gert Wash. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
