* Until 430 PM PDT.
* At 206 PM PDT, trained weather spotters reported flooding near Ocotillo. Numerous reports of boulders and flood impacts to other roads including Interstate 8. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ocotillo, Mountain Spring, Coyote Wells and Seeley. This includes the following highways... CA Route 98 near mile marker 1...and between mile markers 10 and 18. CA Interstate 8 near mile marker 1...and between mile markers 10 and 18.
