Advisory

Officers respond to disturbance that leads to arrests and leaves two men with injuries.

On Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at 11:23p.m., the Sheboygan Police Department was called to the 2500 block of S. Business Dr. for a report of a disturbance.  Officers arrived and spoke with witnesses who said that two groups of people were involved in a fight and that people in each group discharged firearms.  One person involved in the altercation suffered two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his lower extremities and was treated at a local hospital.

As a result of this investigation, a number of people were arrested and transported to the police department.  Two men from each side of the disturbance, all from Sheboygan, were taken to the Sheboygan County Detention Facility on criminal charges related to the event.  Their ages are 26, 27, 30, and 31 years of age. Two men were released pending further investigation and we are still in the process of trying to interview people who were present when this occurred.  Two firearms used during this crime are now in police custody.

This investigation is ongoing.  The Sheboygan Police Department thanks those who provided witness statements and assisted with this investigation but we believe that there are more witnesses to this incident.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Sheboygan Police at 920-459-3333.
