* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois, including the following counties, in north central Illinois, De Kalb, La Salle and Ogle. In northeast Illinois, Kendall and McHenry.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1033 AM CDT, doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... DeKalb, Woodstock, Sycamore, Harvard, Marengo, Sandwich, Genoa, Shabbona, Hampshire, Lake Holiday, Cortland, Hinckley, Somonauk, Kirkland, Waterman, Maple Park, Hebron, Kingston, Malta and Union. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
