Construction Project on West and Coolidge Roads to Begin Thursday, Sept. 15 
Motorists are advised that a construction project on West and Coolidge roads is expected to begin on Thursday, Sept. 15 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of October.
Road work will begin on West Road, from Coleman Road to Lake Lansing Road, and commence to Coolidge Road, from Coleman Road to State Road. The roads will be closed to through traffic during construction, with local traffic and access to commercial properties maintained. Through traffic should follow the posted detours or seek alternate routes if possible.
Work will consist of spot curb and gutter repair, manhole structure adjustments and milling and resurfacing of the roadways. These improvements are a part of an ongoing program to improve the infrastructure throughout East Lansing.
