Republic officials provided an update on trash collection 
Republic officials reported that all areas reported as missed were collected today. Most of Tuesday's regular routes were completed with the exception of portions of the Hoot Owl neighborhood, Carol Joy Road, portions of Birchwood Lakes including North and South Lakeside Drive East, Buttonwood, Birchwood, and Brookside Drives, Jackson Road, and streets in Cranberry Lakes. Republic has advised that on Wednesday, they will run one truck to collect all that was missed on the Tuesday route and three trucks will run the Wednesday regular routes. In addition, bulk items will be collected as scheduled tomorrow. Residents should leave their carts at the street for collection on Wednesday.
Other areas that experienced a missed collection that are not listed above should report the missed stop to the Department of Neighborhood Services via email at [email protected]. Republic hopes to be caught up on all collections by the end of the day Wednesday. We appreciate your patience.
