City of McHenry Consolidated Election Information
Beginning Tuesday, September 20, prospective independent candidates for the office of Alderman Ward 2, Alderman Ward 4, Alderman Ward 6, and Alderman Ward 7 for the McHenry City Council may pick up an information packet at the McHenry Municipal Building, 333 S Green Street, McHenry, on Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This information can also be received in digital format by emailing [email protected].
Petitions for independent candidates may not be circulated prior to September 20, 2022. The filing date will be December 12, 2022, through December 19, 2022, for placement on the ballot of the Consolidated Election on April 4, 2023.
