Flood Advisory until 07:30PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Nevada, including the following county, Elko.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 224 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.7 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Meadow Creek, Knoll Creek, Trout Creek, Cottonwood Creek and Salmon Falls Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Northeastern Elko County - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* AFFECTED AREAS: ELKO, NV
