On Sunday, August 7, 2022, IMPD Southwest District officers responded to Mann Road and W. Mooresville Road on a person down. Officers arrived and located a male with injuries consistent with trauma. Further investigation revealed the male had been struck by a vehicle. Decatur Township Medical Services and Fire arrived an unfortunately the male was pronounced deceased on the scene.
IMPD Hit & Run detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. IMPD is looking for a 2008-2012 Chevy Malibu *unknown color* It will have front passenger and windshield damage.
