Three suspects have been arrested in this case and charged with Murder. The first suspect is Kezabien Mayes, male, birthday 03/16/2004. The second suspect is Javonne Mayes, male, birthday 01/27/2003. The third suspect is a juvenile female, age 14, and she was also charged with Engaging in Criminal Activity and booked into the Youth Center of the High Plains. The Homicide Unit is still investigating.

On Wednesday September 14th at 11:26 PM, Amarillo Police officers were called to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of north Grand Street. Adam Jeremiah Maes, 17-year-old male, was found at that location suffering from a gunshot wound. Maes was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The Amarillo Police Department Homicide Unit has interviewed multiple people involved with this incident, but no arrests have been made at this point. The investigation is ongoing.
Three arrests have been made in the homicide from North Grand Street Wednesday.
