INCIDENT: PC 187 - Murder
LOCATION: 7th Street and D Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Dillard Fowler, 47-years-old, Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Jason Stewart, 37-years-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 11:59 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a stabbing near the intersection of 7th Street and D Street. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, identified as Jason Stewart, suffering from several stab wounds. Medical aid was provided; however, Stewart succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation.
Through investigation, detectives identified and located the suspect, Dillard Fowler, and took him into custody. Dillard was booked in at the High Desert Detention Center where he remains without bail.
