TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced
for Puerto Rican Day Parade 
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces the following street closures for the Puerto Rican Day Parade to be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022.
Beginning from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Broadway from 7th Avenue and 4th Avenue
Beginning from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bloomfield Avenue from Broadway to Roseville Avenue and North 8th Street
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Fragé thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal activities to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
