08/29/2022 @ 0034. A man shot the victim one time in the stomach during an argument that started after the suspect was asked to not smoke inside the club. The suspect fled the area on foot and was arrested by responding deputies. #05451

 

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)

7600 block Norton Avenue

08/29/2022 @ 2109. A woman was inside her residence when the suspect knocked on her window and asked her for a cigarette. The homeowner does not know the suspect and told him to go away. The suspect became angry and broke 14 window panes on the victim’s French door and reached his hand inside to gain access. The victim ran from the residence and the suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05470

08/29/2022 – 09/01/2022. An unknown suspect smashed the bedroom sliding door to gain entry and ransacked the interior. The suspect removed jewelry and paintings from the bedroom. #05536

08/30/2022 @ 2115-0100. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a laptop computer, tablet computer, two pipes, and a book bag from the front seat. #05492

08/31/2022 @ 1007. A man pulled a piece of artwork from the wall and attempted to leave the store without payment. An employee told the suspect to stop and he dropped the artwork on the floor and fled the area on foot. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05501

09/01/2022 @ 1740. A man and a woman worked in concert to distract an employee and remove the employees’ Hermes Crocodile Birkin bag from behind the front counter. The bag contained a Chanel wallet, Montblanc pen, and sunglasses. #05534

09/01/2022 @ 1518. A man removed food and orange juice and attempted to leave the store without payment. An employee told the suspect to return the items and he threatened to shoot her. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. (Related to #05532). #05531

09/01/2022 @ 1506. A man removed a speaker, headphones, and a charger and attempted to leave the store without payment. While walking out of the store the suspect told an employee he would shoot him in the face if he tried to stop him. The suspect was allowed to leave and arrested a short time later by responding deputies. (Related #05531). #05532

09/01/2022 @ 2300-0110. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and the rear passenger’s side window and removed a luggage bag containing clothing and shoes and a duffel bag containing four pairs of shoes and a purse from the trunk. The suspect also removed a bag containing toiletries and a backpack containing a tablet computer, charging cable, and apple pencil from the back seat. #05542

09/02/2022 @ 0450. A woman removed a window screen to gain entry and was found inside the residence by the homeowner. The suspect appeared intoxicated and was told to leave but she refused and threw a coffee mug onto the ground and broke a flower vase. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05544

09/03/2022 @ 0223. Two men punched and kicked the victim several times on his face and body during a fight that started on the sidewalk in front of the club. #05562
