Fatal crash in southern Vigo County 
On 09-16-2022 at 6:52pm, deputies responded to a crash on Doberman St just south of Gross Rd at a railroad crossing in southern Vigo County. The crash involved a motor vehicle and a train. The driver, and only occupant of the motor vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and no name is being released at this time.
