NOTICE OF TEMPORARY

WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION

This notice is to inform you that your water services may be temporarily interrupted on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 between the hours of 12pm and 4pm relating to emergency water main and valve repairs in your area, as well as roadways in the vicinity will be partially affected to vehicular traffic.  The affected areas will include:

• 4500 thru 4600 Blocks of Tod Avenue
• 4500 thru 4600 Blocks of Indianapolis Boulevard
• 600 thru 700 Blocks of Exchange, from Tod to Indianapolis Boulevard
• 600 thru 700 Blocks of W Chicago Avenue

YOUR BLOCK MAY BE WITHOUT WATER SERVICE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EMERGENCY WORK.

The City will provide updates should additional areas be affected and relating to this emergency work. Once installation work is completed, the water main will be flushed to remove any iron/rust deposits and entrapped air. Residents may experience some discoloration and air in their plumbing system. It is recommended that residents flush their internal plumbing systems by allowing the water to run for a few minutes until clear.
