Investigators are releasing photos of a suspect involved in the murder of a local Fashion Store owner and a person of interest.  An older booking photo of Brooks from 2016 is attached.

Investigators have charged Adrian R Brooks, 42, wearing black t-shirt and  black mask with capital murder and need the man wearing the white jacket and white baseball hat in these surveillance photos identified.

On Saturday, March 19th, 2022, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Harris County Sheriff's Office patrol units responded to the Newly Acquired Wealth and Fashion (NAWF) store located at 12726 North Freeway in reference to an Aggravated Robbery in which a store employee had been shot.

Deputies located the complainant, 33-year-old Matthew Archield, with several gunshot wounds, including a gunshot wound to the head.
Archield was initially transported to the hospital in serious condition, On March 23rd, 2022, Archield was removed from life support and pronounced deceased.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Adrian R Brooks or information on the person of interest in the photo, are urged to call the HCSO homicide unit at 713-274-9100.
