Sheriff's Office investigating shooting on Muddy Creek Road, Hilton Head Island, SC 
The Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Muddy Creek Road area of Hilton Head Island.
At approximately 8:05 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Muddy Creek Road and Bryant Road on Hilton Head in reference to a “shots fired” call.
One gunshot victim was located at the scene and is being transported to the hospital by emergency medical services.
The shooting investigation is active and ongoing at this time. There will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area of Muddy Creek Road, Bryant Road, and Spanish Wells Road for the next several hours.
