Fire From Last Evening (9/20): 
Last evening, at about 9:20 pm, San Leandro Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 139th Avenue at the request of the Alameda County Fire Department as a large warehouse was ablaze. During the fire, a firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the fire department.
If police determine this resulted from illegal and prohibited activities, we will assist with the investigation.
All inquiries are being deferred to the Alameda County Fire Department.
