ELHS Homecoming Parade to Take Place this Friday, Sept. 23
The East Lansing High School (ELHS) Homecoming Parade will take place this Friday, Sept. 23, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised that there will be temporary road closures along the parade route. Streets will be closed at 5:30 p.m. and will re-open to traffic by approximately 6:30 p.m. The parade will begin at ELHS and go from Old Hickory Lane south to Burcham Drive; west on Burcham Drive to M.A.C. Avenue; south on M.AC. Avenue to Albert Avenue; east on Albert Avenue to Bailey Street; and north on Bailey Street back to Burcham Drive; west on Burcham Drive to Old Hickory Lane and back to the high school.
The East Lansing Police Department will be assisting with the street closures to ensure a safe school celebration. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during the temporary closures.
