Green Bay Police Investigate Overnight Shooting; One Person Injured

The Green Bay Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that had occurred on the 1400 block of Chicago Street, leaving one person with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Officers were dispatched at approximately 1:14 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022, for the report of a gunshot wound victim who was taken to a local hospital.
 
Police are searching for suspects involved.
 
We do not believe that this was a random incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
 
This investigation is ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
