Earlier this year, the Township rolled out Spatial Data Logic’s Municipal Management Software to connect with and serve the residents of Teaneck online through a combination of cloud-based software, and citizen platforms.
 
SDL is an online hub where residents, as well as professionals, can access information, secure permits and licenses, receive status updates, and submit requests 24 hours a day through the Portal.
 
The SDL platform eliminates the need to travel to the municipal building, or make phone calls to department offices. It is a seamless way for citizens to engage the Township and submit request forms online.
 
Many residents have already taken advantage of the SDL management software system for various purposes to include: renewal of pet licenses; parking permits; scheduling inspections; searching property histories; submitting complaints; applying for permits; submitting OPRA requests; accessing town data; searching permit statuses; and, securing block party and special event applications. These are just a few of the ways we are streamlining workflow for staff and enabling self-service access for residents.
