Full Notification

This is an emergency notification from the Lubbock Police Department regarding a(n) Major Accident. The incident details at this time are: LPD’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is responding to the 5400 block of Slide Road for reports of a collision involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian. The call came in at 8:54 pm. The pedestrian has been transported to University Medical Center via ambulance with serious injuries. Currently, the northbound lanes of Slide Road in the 5400 block are completely closed and southbound lanes are limited. We are asking the public to avoid the area if possible. The LPD needs the public to avoid the area.
