Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé seeks the public’s help in locating Shania Diggs, 20, of Newark, who was reported missing on Monday, September 19, 2022.

Ms. Diggs, who is diagnosed with cognitive impairment, was last seen at the 100 block of Seymour Avenue at 11:30 p.m. She was wearing a brown tank top, gray shorts, and an Afro hairstyle. 

Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in quickly locating Shania Diggs. She is described as 5’6” tall and 110 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. 

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Shania Diggs to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
