Ramp Closures Planned Along State Route 30 in Amsterdam, Montgomery County
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) today announced the Erie Street exit and entrance ramps along State Route 30 in the City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, will be closed beginning 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
The closures are necessary to facilitate ongoing rehabilitation work and are expected to remain in effect through late November.
Motorists will be directed to follow signed detours.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
