Bomb Threat at Maverick Stadium Found to be False, Event Continued as Planned

SUSPECT: Unknown
SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a 911 call at the Adelanto Stadium, 12000 Stadium Way. According to the caller, a bomb had been placed at the stadium.
Deputies arrived at the stadium and immediately searched the premises for a bomb. No bomb or any suspicious items were located. A rodeo was being held at the stadium later that evening. After the search was concluded, stadium management made the decision to continue the event. The event proceeded without incident.
