Veo E-scooter Rodeo/Open House, 9/29
Interested in a convenient way to get around without a car? Highland Park’s Veo e-scooter program can help! Please join us from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Welkovits pavilion in the municipal parking lot on Raritan Avenue where Veo representatives will demonstrate how to operate e-scooters and offer safety tips.
Bike Rodeo, 10/3
Grab your helmet and bike and join the Highland Park Police Department for a bike rodeo from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Bartle School Parking Lot (Rear of 435 Mansfield Street).
Flu Clinic, 10/11
Get prepared for flu season by getting your flu shot at the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Ave. between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by Middlesex County and a consent form must be completed in advance. For more information contact (732) 819-0052.
Haunted House, 10/25
Enter if you dare…Zone 6 presents its annual haunted house at the Zone 6 Teen Center, 600 Benner Street from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Halloween Costume Parade & Festival, 10/30
Come on down to the Highland Park Community Center, 220 South 6th Ave. from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. to win prizes for best costume, music, dancing, bounce house, crafts, refreshments, giveaways and more!
Food Pantry Distribution, 10/13, 10/15, 10/27 & 10/29

Highland Park Recreation Programs
Highland Park Recreation offers a variety of adult and youth fall programs. Families that qualify for free and reduced lunch are eligible for a 60% discount on all programs offered by the borough.
H.P. Gives a Hoot
Highland Park Gives a Hoot offers free groceries to Highland Park families in need of support. Distributions are every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Zone 6 Teen Center, 600 Benner Street.
