Two Suspects Arrested for Lewd Acts with a Child in Lake Arrowhead

DATE/TIME: September 26, 2022 / 1:47 PM 

INCIDENT: PC 288(C)(1) - Lewd Acts with a Child; PC 261(A)(3) - Rape of Drugged Victim; PC 287(B)(1) - Oral Copulation of a Person Under 18; PC 647.6(A) - Annoy/Molest a Victim Under 18; and PC 272(A)(1) - Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

LOCATION: 2700 Block of Alpen Drive, Lake Arrowhead  

SUSPECT(S): David Zimmerman, Age 29, Resident of Lake Arrowhead
                        Phillip Durham, Age 22, Resident of Crestline   

VICTIM(S): Confidential   


SUMMARY: 
Deputies from the Twin Peaks Station were dispatched to a report of a male having sexual relations with a female juvenile. The investigation revealed the victim, a 17-year-old juvenile female, had sexual relations with David Zimmerman on several occassions. Zimmerman also gave the victim numerous drugs and alcohol during these relations.  Deputies also learned Zimmerman's friend, Phillip Durham, also had sexual relations with the victim.

Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 27000 block of Alpen Drive in Lake Arrowhead and obtained evidence related to the investigation. 

Zimmerman was arrested for PC 288(C)(1) - Lewd Acts with a Child; PC 261(A)(3) - Rape of Drugged Victim; PC 287(B)(1) - Oral Copulation of a Person Under 18; PC 647.6(A) - Annoy/Molest a Victim Under 18; and PC 272(A)(1) - Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.  Zimmerman was booked at Central Detention Center in lieu of $300,000 bail. 

Phillip Durham was arrested for violating PC 288(C)(1) - Lewd Acts with a Child and PC 287(B)(1) - Oral Copulation of Person Under 18. Durham was also booked at Central Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
