2022 Road Paving Information
Beginning on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Bray Brothers Inc. will begin paving as a part of the 2022 Road Paving Project according to the following schedule:
September 28, 2022 through September 30, 2022: Milling and paving of N. Penn Street from E. Monument Avenue to Summit Avenue
October 3, 2022 through October 17, 2022: Milling and paving of N. Penn Street from E. Monument Avenue to E. Montgomery Avenue
October 20, 2022: Milling and paving of Edward Road from Belmar Road to Borough Line
October 24, 2022: Milling and paving of Williams Lane from S. Chester Avenue to S. Linden Avenue
Temporary traffic limitations and no parking restrictions will be in place on the aforementioned roads at 7 AM each morning work is scheduled. Residents on the abovementioned streets should remove all parked vehicles and basketball nets from the street prior to work taking place, no exceptions. Streets will be accessible to local traffic only during work hours. There may be times when residents cannot access their homes (i.e. if the street immediately in front of your home is being milled/paved at your desired time of access); however, contractors will do their best to work with residents. Residents may want to relocate their vehicles during work hours to avoid being inconvenienced by the project.
Additionally, residents are being asked to place all trash, recycling, and yard waste out for collection prior to 6:30 AM on the dates of their road being paved. This will allow Public Works to collect your refuse prior to the contractor beginning work for the day.
Please note, this work is subject to change should inclement weather occur. Any changes in the project schedule due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances will immediately be posted to the Borough’s website and Facebook page.
