Sign up for fall and winter recreation!

The City of Hoboken's Division of Recreation today announced registration for youth wrestling, winter basketball, and flag football.

Registration will open for each program on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 5 p.m. and close on Friday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. 

Practice and game schedules will be determined by the number of registrants and provided after registration closes.

Flag Football 

This year, the City of Hoboken is an affiliate partner of NFL Flag Football. The flag football program is for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years old. The season is scheduled to begin in November and end in December.

Wrestling 

The City of Hoboken will offer wrestling to children between the ages of 6 and 14 years old. The program will offer both competition and developmental wrestling from November to March.

Winter Basketball

From January to March, the City will offer three youth winter basketball leagues as well as an instructional basketball program and a special needs program.

Instructional Basketball is for children 7 years of age. 

The John 'Diddles' McDonald Co-ed Basketball League is for children in 3rd through 4th grade. 

The Girls League is for children in 5th through 8th grade. 

The Boys League is for children in 5th through 8th grade. 

The Special Needs Basketball Program is for youth between the ages of 7 and 17 years old.

The Hoboken Public Library is developing a new three-year strategic plan. Community members are invited to complete the survey and provide the Hoboken Public Library with input on what they think about the library, its space, collections, services and programs.
